Deployment / Work Related Absence Support

At the CMFRC we strive to keep you well-informed and connected before, during and following a deployment / work related absence. We are able to offer a variety of services, information and resources. See below for more details.

Services offered locally, at the Comox Military Family Resource Centre

One-on-One: A personalized information session with a CMFRC team member to provide resources and support. Email [email protected] to book an appointment.

Warm line connection: Would you like a CMFRC team member to reach out during an absence? Email [email protected] to request a call.

Morale Mail: Free domestic and overseas care package delivery sent through your local MFRC. 

Emergency Family Care Plan: A written document that  outline arrangements for back-up or emergency situations. This Plan is to be kept at home and be easily accessible. To get a copy of the Plan, email [email protected]

Emergency Childcare: Call The Family Information Line at 1-800-866-4546 for more information and eligibility.
