Birthday Parties
BIRTHDAY PARTIES ARE A BLAST WITH PSP COMMUNITY RECREATION
PSP currently offers birthday party bookings for both the Aquatic Centre and the Mackenzie Arts & Community Centre play structure. Specific details on the different types of parties you can book for each facility can be found below, just click the area you're interested in to see more.
What you need to know
- Reserve your Up Up & Away party now on Univerus Rec, registration opens quarterly - January, February, March (registration opens October 1)/ April, May June (registration opens January 1)/ July, August, September (registration opens April 1)/ October, November, December (registration opens July 1).
- Booking cancellations must be submitted via a program withdrawal form no less than 2 weeks prior to date and time of booking for refund consideration. All refunds are subject to the approval of the Community Recreation Coordinator and/or Manager.
- Please use the form below to request a PSP pool party! All requests are subject to approval by the Aquatic Supervisor.

Up, Up, and Away Parties
Bookings for Up, Up, and Away party packages are on a first come first served basis and are for children 7 years of age or younger, up to a maximum of 15 children. All available party dates are now available to book through Univerus!

Coach Package
What you get when you book the Coach package:
- 1.5 hours in the gym with the play structure and Open Play set-up.
- 1 hour in the party room for presents, cake and eats.
- Birthday can be stressful, we want to help with that; you will have access to either space (based on availability) 15 minutes before and after your party time to unload, set-up and pack everything back up. No need to worry about the cleaning, we take care of that; we just ask that you ensure the space is left in tidy, with all garbage picked up!
Cost: $125.00 for Defence Team, $150.00 for Non-Defence

First Class Upgrade
This party package is just like the Coach Package with a sparkly upgrade – glitter tattoos! The addition of the glitter tattoos gets you one artist and all materials for 1 hour.
What you get with the First Class Upgrade:- 1.5 hours in the gym with the play structure, Open Play set-up, and glitter tattoos (1 hour). *Expecting lots of kids and wish to have 2 artists? A second artist can be added for an additional cost*
- 1 hour in the party room for presents, cake and eats.
- Access to one of the two spaces (based on availability) 15 minutes before and after your party time to unload, set-up, and pack everything back up. Just like the Coach package we take care of the cleaning; we just ask that you ensure the space is left tidy and that all garbage has been picked up and placed in the appropriate bin.
Cost: $175.00 for Defence Team, $200.00 for Non-Defence Team

Cannon Ball Pool Party
Our Cannon Ball Party package takes place during any of our family or public swim times and includes 10 swimmers. You will have access to our main pool with diving board, leisure pool and waterslide. You will also have access to pool toys, floating mats and inner tubes. *Subject to availability You will have 1 hour in the pool followed by 1 hour in the party room, access to the party room will extend 15 min before and after for set up and clean up.
Cost: $125 for Defence Team | $150 for Non-Defence Team
*If you wish to bring more than 10 swimmers there will be an additional cost of $3.50/swimmer* -
Little Splasher Pool Party
Our Little Splasher Pool Party is a private rental of our leisure pool for children ages 0-6 and their caregivers, up to a max of 30 swimmers. This package includes access to the leisure pool with mats and toys available, as well as use of the waterslide *subject to availability. You will have 1 hour in the pool followed by 1 hour in the party room, access to the party room will extend 15 min before and after for set up and clean up.
Cost: $160 Defence Team | $200 Non-Defence Team -
Make a Splash Pool Party
Our Make a Splash Pool Party package is a private rental of the whole pool facility for a max of 30 swimmers. This package includes everything from the Cannon Ball Party plus your choice of our new Wibit Slope inflatable or the inflatable dog. You will have 1 hour in the pool followed by 1 hour in the party room, access to the party room will extend 15 min before and after for set up and clean up.
Cost: $245 for Defence Team | $300 for Non-Defence Team
