Gift Requisition

You are eligible for a Departure Gift if you have been a member of Juno Beach Mess for a Period LONGER THAN 2 YEARS. Options for departure gifts include the following list:

• Purchase an item of your choice up to a maximum of $50.00 before taxes and bring in a copy of the receipt as well as a void cheque so the Mess can reimburse for the purchase.
• Mess staff can pick up a $50.00 gift card of your choosing and advise once it is ready for pick up at the mess
• Juno Beach Mess logo’d Golf Shirt
• Juno Beach Mess logo’d Mug
• Juno Beach Mess logo’d Under Armour Gym Bag
• Juno Beach Mess Coin
• Juno Beach Mess logo’d Whiterock Tumbler

You are eligible for a Retirement gift if you will have completed 20 yrs of svc at your effective rls date.IAW the Juno Beach Mess bylaws Mbrs who are releasing medically are eligible for retirement gifts upon completion of 10 yrs of svc upon effective rls date provided they have contributed to the Mess gift fund for a minimum of 2 years.

You will be notified by Mess staff at your preferred contact method when your Mess gift is available for pick up. Mess gifts can be picked up at the Mess Admin Office, located upstairs in Bldg T-147 during office hours Wed-Fri between 0900-1430hrs.

Mess Other Gift Requisition Form (NewBorn, Retirement, Sympathy, etc)  

1. Send Mess office your supporting document. (Examples of supporting documentation outlined below)

2. Mess staff will verify the request by Mbr, or request on behalf of Mbr by a unit, is eligible for gift

3. Mess staff will notify when gift is available for pick up. Please note that Mess staff will only turn over any gifts to the Member eligible - other Members or units claiming to pck up on behalf of Member will be denied pick-up unless Mbr has explicitly notified Mess staff via written correspondence. Signatures will be required upon pick up to attest that gift has been received.

Please Note: supporting documentation to be sent to [email protected] with the subject line: Last 3 digits of Service Number-GiftType (ex. Sgt Doe with service number N12345678, subject line should be DOE678-Retirement Gift)

Gift Requisition requires necessary approval and documents.

Only members in good standing are eligible for mess gift.

• Newborn- MATA/PATA leave pass or proof of birth

• Retirement- MPRR

• Sympathy- Information to include address and timings pertaining to delivery of token of sympathy for a service on behalf of Juno Beach Mess OR donation to a charity of Member's choosing in memoriam.
