EarlyON programs enhance children’s learning and development.


EarlyON programs at the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC)

EarlyON Playgroups offer hands on, play-based activities that encourage exploration, curiosity and creativity, and promote healthy development. We focus on creating relationships that foster belonging, provide support for parents and caregivers and connect families to community services.

Our program is centered around four foundations of learning and provides opportunities for children, and the adults in their lives to play, learn and connect.

Join EarlyON from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Thursday for Pops and Tots!

Pops and Tots is a program designed for children and the male caregivers in their lives; dads, grandpas, papas, cousins and uncles. A place to engage with your child in fun activities, enjoy a pizza dinner and connect with other ‘Pops.’

EarlyON Programs and Locations

The Playgroup

Visit us Monday through Friday at our drop-in playgroup for some hands-on fun. Every day is an opportunity to try something new! Come join us for special community guests and yoga, too.

Traveling Playgroup

Beginning in June, come along as we explore different parks, beaches and conservation areas in our community. For more information, check out our monthly calendar on Facebook.

Halte-jeux francophone

Whether you are a part of our Francophone community, want to practice conversing in French or just looking to introduce your child to a new language, come join us at Cité-Jeunesse Public School for our Francophone playgroup. This program runs from September to June.
