Ice Hockey

This is open to Regular Force members, Reserve Force members over 180 days and Class "A" Reservists with the written approval of their unit commander. In accordance with CANFORGEN 165/15, all Class A personnel must be registered for the parade. Please provide CO approval by e-mail to [email protected]

For liability reasons, this game is not open to civilians.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO PLAY AT ANY TIME

(as per national rule book, chapter 11, paragraph 12)

The following CSA-approved equipment must be worn by all players at all times. Failure to do so may result in loss of ice time: 

• helmet and face protector complete with metal fasteners and earpiece;
• elbow pads;
• shin guards;
• padded field hockey pants;
• field hockey gloves;
• shoulder pads;
• protective athletic fit;
• throat protector; and
• Goalie: CSA-approved mask with plastic throat protector, chest, shoulder, arm and elbow pads, sports jock, goalie pants, goalie pads and goalie gloves.
