Beaver Hall Facility

Beaver Hall is open to all military personnel (Reg F and Res F) and Recreation Membership holders.

The facility is divided into 2 areas:

  • Weight / Cardio Area; and 
  • South Drill Hall

The weight / cardio area hosts a variety of training equipment including, but not limited to treadmills, spin and recumbent bikes, ellipticals, concept 2 rowers, air dyne bike, stair master, free weights, kettlebells, medicine & slam balls, barbells, benches, lifting platforms, cables/pulleys, leg press, machines, plyo boxes, heavy bag, torque tanks, foam rollers, exercise balls, bands etc.  


The Southside of the drill hall will be reserved for approved sports, individual PT, PSP led PT, and military training. 


Washroom, changing room, and shower facilities are available. A water bottle filling station is also available. Lockers are for day use only 

*Beaver Hall is accessible to all Reg F and Res F Class B over 180-day contracts. Class B under 180-day contracts and Class A must have their unit commander sign an Authorized Sports RO for the entire unit. Most units in the London area have fulfilled this requirement, please contact the Fitness and Sports Coordinator regarding any questions or see us at Beaver Hall for more information.

Please contact your CoC to determine what facilities are available to you if you are not located within the London Area.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What options are available if I don’t wish to come into the facility?
    PSP staff across Canada is providing virtual programs and services that meet your physical, mental, social and financial needs. To view services being offered, please click on the following link Virtual Services of CF Morale and Welfare Services (YouTube).
  • What are the expectations while I am in the facility?
    Certainly wipes are available throughout the weight / cardio area. Please ensure you are wiping down equipment you have used and disposing of the wipes into the garbages. Tidy up equipment you have used, returning it back to its designated spot.  
  • Beaver Hall Fitness facilities rules of conduct?
    1. Appropriate training clothing will be worn at all times in the fitness training areas (athletic footwear, gym shorts/pants, t-shirt or training top).  

    1. No exposed mid-section; No crop tops, sports bras or string tank tops. 

    1. No sandals or flip-flops permitted in the training areas.  

    1. No CF-issued combat boots, pants, shirts allowed while training in these areas. 

    1. Military training takes priority at all times. 

    1. DND, civilian and retired military personnel must provide proof of recreation membership for access to these fitness facilities. 

    1. Clean equipment after use and return all weights to their respective storage areas. 

    1. Spotters are strongly advised at all times and please never train alone in the fitness areas. 

    1. Report any injuries or first-aid requirements to the PSP staff or attendants.  

    1. Report any damage to machines or equipment to PSP staff.  

    1. Do not drop dumbbells, barbells or plates to the floor.  

    1. Anyone with a physical limitation will be briefed by PSP staff for additional safety rules and guidelines.  

  • What kind of cleaning protocols does the fitness center have in place?
    All users are required to wipe down all equipment and machines with the government approved cleaning solution provided. PSP will do a full facility cleaning 1100-1200 hrs and following facility closure.
