Confederation Bridge 


Sometimes referred to the "the fixed link," the Confederation Bridge construction started in 1993 and opened for Islanders to use in May of 1997. This 12.9 km bridge, located in Borden Carleton, PEI, connects the Island to the mainland (specifically to Cape Jourmain, NB).

Northumberland Ferries Limited 


The Northumberland Ferries Ltd (NFL) is a ferry service that travels between Caribou, NS, and Wood Islands, PEI, that operates between May and December. The schedule varies depending on the season and weather conditions. Charlottetown Airport


The Charlottetown Airport is the only airport on PEI with service to Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa, and seasonal services to “hot spot” destinations.
