Transportation Assistance for Medical Appointments

Pending availability of funds, the PEI MFRC can provide military families with a bridge pass and/or $50 gas card to assist with transportation for medical purposes. Funds are for military families (regular force or reserve) living in Prince Edward Island and attending medical appointments away from their home. 

The funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until the monthly allotment of funds has been distributed.  In order to access these funds, the member or their designate must go to the PEI Military Family Resource Centre, provide the member’s service number and unit, and sign for the gift card.   

Members and designates may apply for funding more than once in a fiscal year; however, priority will be given to those who have not yet received funding this FY.
