Black Excellence: A Heritage to Celebrate; a Future to Build is the 2024 theme of Black History Month.
We honour the legacy of Black Canadians across the country, celebrate their achievements and remember their struggles, some of which unfortunately continue to this day.
CFMWS recognizes the accomplishments of our Black Canadian Armed Forces members and their families. We thank them for their service and commit ourselves to doing our part to build a future of inclusion and respect.

Throughout February and all year long, we will be acknowledging the incredible contributions, past and present, that Black Canadians have made to Canadian society while also recommitting ourselves to building a more inclusive and equitable Canada
