CanSkate

The nationally recognized Skate Canada program is the go to Learn to Skate program for all athletes. Useful for all ice sports; figure skating, ringette, speed skating and hockey. It’s for everyone! All ages and skill levels. 

PreCan - new to skating, hasn’t been on the ice much. Needs help in all areas, Balance, Control and agility.

CanSkate - has some experience and is developing their skills. Can make strides forward, backwards and attempts stopping.

Figure Skating

STAR 1-5 program offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of skills, freeskate, ice dance, artistic and synchronized skating. STAR 6 - Gold is an assessment and event structure for skaters who completed the STAR 1-5 Program. This structure builds on the skills acquired in STAR 1-5 and introduces skaters to more advanced figure skating elements. Check the registration tab to see which levels are offered.

Powerskate

PowerSkate focuses on skating technique through balance, control and agility skills, to enhance the skating ability of hockey and ringette players. Skaters may be any age and must have previous skating experience that equates to Stage 4 in CanSkate or higher.
