Outdoor Activities

Veterans Park includes a bunch of different options for you and your family to enjoy the outdoors. 

Playground

Veterans park is equipped with a playground that includes multiple slides, educational pieces, swings and multiple entrances/exits to keep the young ones busy for awhile. 

Softball Field

Veterans park is also equipped with a full sized softball field. You will need to bring your own equipment but luckily, your friendly neighbourhood PSP team at the 5 Wing Fitness Centre has got you covered!

Ice Rink

Veterans park is also equipped with an Ice Rink that is maintained by the wing. During the summer months it can be used for multiple different activities ranging from Road Hockey to being used as a Tennis Court. In the winter months, skating events and hockey events are hosted here by the different departments of 5 Wing. 

Sitting Area

Veterans park also has a roofed, sitting area where a couple benches and tables are kept. This area can provide you and your family with an area out of the harsh sunlight in the summer months and a place to eat snacks when the kids get hungry!
