We’re excited to announce a local recipient of the annual CFMWS Exceptional Achievement Awards.

Samantha Woods consistently demonstrates exceptional dedication to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) community, playing a central role in helping members and families settle and feel at home on base. Samantha's efforts include helping newly relocated families find resources and make connections, while offering personal support. Her warm and calming presence has been a blessing to many families, creating a welcoming environment during transitions. Samantha champions various initiatives, including yoga classes, Oktoberfest celebrations, and a garden club. 

Beyond her volunteer work, Samantha is a pivotal figure in fostering community and maintaining strong relationships. Her magnetic energy and compassionate nature draw people in, making her a trusted confidante for many. Her dedication to understanding and connecting with individuals ensures that community members feel heard and valued at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Moose Jaw.
