Veteran Family Program

The Veteran Family Program supports the unique needs of medically releasing Canadian Armed Forces members, medically released veterans, and their families as they prepare for and adjust to life after service. We understand that the transition from military to civilian life can bring significant changes to employment, finances, health care, family roles, relationships, and community connections.

Through personalized guidance, information, referrals, and access to helpful programs and resources, the Veteran Family Program helps families navigate these changes with greater confidence. Support is available throughout the transition process, helping individuals and families build connections, strengthen their well-being, and identify the services that best meet their needs.

Funded by Veterans Affairs Canada, the Veteran Family Program is delivered through Military Family Resource Centres across Canada. Wherever you are in your transition journey, support is available for you and your family.

Services Include:

  • Operational Stress Injury Resource for Caregivers
  • Veteran Family Journal
  • Mental Health First Aid - Veteran Community
  • Support with developing a Family Care Plan
