The PSP Learn to Skate Program is a recreational skating program that provides different levels of programming. The aim of the program is to teach kids to skate in all stages of disciplines and to have fun! A CSA approved helmet and gloves or mittens are required at all times when skating.

Learn to Skate: Beginner
A fun introduction to skating for beginners. Coached by professional coaches and program assistants. Skaters will learn how to stand up, move around on the ice, as well as how to stop and start. A CSA approved helmet and gloves or mittens are required at all times when skating.

Recreational beginners' skating program designed to teach or reinforce skating techniques. Participants learn basic techniques such as balance, starts, stops, skating backwards, crossing, pivoting, power, and speed. Skaters must wear a CSA-approved helmet and gloves or mittens at all times.
