Bagotville - Fitness training classes

The PSP fitness team offers expert-led group classes for all levels to help you improve your physical condition. 

For information on specific sessions for your unit (unit PT), please contact your sports officer or consult the fitness sharepoint (on DWAN only). 

Here is all the information about group classes open to all CFB workers.

Fitness lessons

  • Get strenght !

    Specific to the FORCE test!

    Get ready to take on the FORCE assessment challenge! This group class is designed to improve your physical fitness according to common military requirements. Through specific and progressively more difficult exercises, you will develop your endurance, strength, and power, allowing you to excel in each of the four events.

    Schedule: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    Location: Gymnasium

    Registration: No registration required.

    In addition, every other Thursday, we offer FORCE test practice. This will allow you to become more familiar with the standards and optimize your performance.

  • Running group

    Run towards your goals!

    A dynamic training session focused on developing endurance, speed, and running technique, suitable for all levels. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner, you'll find your pace in a stimulating and structured environment. Join the Bagotville running group's private Facebook group for information on training locations and running resources.

    Schedule: Every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Location: To be determined based on weather (outdoor track, arena, treadmill)

    Registration: No registration required, but joining the Facebook group is highly recommended.

  • Spinning

    Pedal your way to your full potential! This cardio class will vary intensity, speed, and resistance on stationary bikes for a complete and stimulating workout. All set to upbeat music and a dynamic group atmosphere that pushes you to exceed your limits. Ideal for improving your endurance, burning calories, and keeping a smile on your face throughout the class!

    Schedule: Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. and/or Thursdays from noon to 12:45 p.m.

    Location: Gym

    Registration: select the desired class(es) in Bookking

  • YEM (yoga-stretching-mobility)

    Reduce muscle tension with a combination of yoga poses, stretches, and joint mobility exercises. This class is ideal for complementing your workout, promoting recovery, and preventing injuries. Treat your body to some active relaxation in a soothing environment.

    Schedule: Tuesdays 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. and/or Thursdays 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

    Location: Multipurpose Room 1

    Registration: Select the desired classes in Bookking.
