Strongest Families Institute - provides free online mental health and wellness programs to children and families, with coaches trained in military cultural competencies. Services can be accessed by contacting us.

The NWT Literacy Council promotes and supports literacy and essential skills including family and youth literacy.
Parenting After Separation and Divorce program offers a half day workshop that helps make the transition through separation or divorce easier for both children and parents.
The Rainbow Coalition of Yellowknife offers a parenting support group for parents of queer or trans youth.
Yellowknife YWCA: offers a variety of programs including after school programs.

Moms, Boobs and Babies program is a program that promotes and supports parents who choose to breast feed their babies.
Healthy Family Program (0-5) offers support to families and children through a home visitation program. Services begin prenatally or shortly after birth and may continue to be offered until the child is 5 years of age.
Parents Empowering Kids (for parents of children ages 3-12): equips parents with positive parenting skills to overcome and prevent common childhood behaviour challenges.
Dry Nights Ahead (ages 5-12) :this program works with parents to help their child overcome bedwetting with the use of a urine alarm and reward system.
Chase Worries Away (ages 6-11): educates parents and children about anxiety and guides them as they learn strategies to help children face their worries in real life.
Chase Pain Away (ages 9-16): focuses on teaching stress management, avoidance of triggers, dietary modifications and appropriate use of over-the-counter medication.
Defeat Anxiety (ages 12-17): educates youth and their parents about anxiety and guides them as they learn strategies to overcome anxiety and face it in real life.
