-
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The Women and Gender-Diverse Physical Fitness and Wellness Program (Women’s Wellness Program) presents the third session in the Ask a Dietitian webinar series: Protect your heart with healthy eating.
Heart disease remains one of the leading health concerns for women, yet many risk factors are often overlooked or underestimated. Factors such as stress, poor sleep, shift work, hormonal changes, physical inactivity, and nutrition can significantly influence cardiovascular health throughout a woman’s life.
In this webinar, registered dietitian Christine Tardif will discuss the unique aspects of heart health in women and provide practical nutrition strategies to help reduce cardiovascular risk. Participants will learn about heart-healthy eating patterns, nutrient-rich food choices, and simple strategies that can be applied in both everyday and military environments.
This session offers practical tools to support long-term heart health while maintaining operational readiness and overall well-being.
