Jackie Stack, Community Recreation Supervisor, PSP immediately saw the value and dedication that JJ brought as a volunteer, “JJ's first year as a volunteer with us was an experience filled with positivity and a friendly demeanor that brought a breath of fresh air to our team. As someone new to the world of volunteering, he embraced our team values and demonstrated remarkable awareness of the needs of our campers.”

Jackie continues, “Our summer camps cater to 10-20 campers each week, and JJ's presence had a profound impact on all those involved. His calm and composed nature resonated with our campers, providing them with a sense of security and tranquility. Furthermore, JJ actively engaged with our recreation leaders, his dedication and consistent attendance ensured that our team always had an extra pair of hands.

The effects of JJ's volunteerism extended beyond the campers and recreation leaders. His positive and respectful presence created a welcoming environment for everyone involved in our summer camps. From myself as the camp organizer to all the campers, JJ's actions enhanced the overall experience for everyone.
