Emergency: 911911 is not available in Nunavut. It is available in Yukon and the Northwest Territories (NT).
There are some notable differences with the 911 service in the NT. First, you must be in an area where there’s cell phone coverage. The vast majority of the land and water mass within the NT is without cell phone coverage. When speaking with the dispatcher, you’ll need to know what community you’re in and where you’re located. Service is available in English, French and in all of the NWT official languages.
