Here is a list of Recreation facilities that are available for you and your family to enjoy in Yellowknife. Some facilities are part of the PSP Plan Membership Program.

YELLOWKNIFE CITY FACILITIES 


Fieldhouse (FREE TO PSP PLAN MEMBERS)

PSP Plan members and military members can access the track using their PSP Card or Military ID. If you leave the track to use the restroom or get a drink of water, please do not sign-in again as we will be charged more than once.*   Click here to access more information.


Multiplex Complex

Ruth Inch Memorial Swimming Pool (FREE TO PSP PLAN MEMBERS)

Military personnel and Members of the PSP Plan Members can access the swims at no cost. This does not include lessons or aqua fit.

Bristol Pit Snowboard Park (PSP MEMBERS RECIEVE DISCOUNT)

The snowboard park at Bristol Pit includes a small terrain park and lift. It is jointly maintained by the City of Yellowknife and the NWT Boardsport Association.

Yellowknife Arena

The Yellowknife Community Arena is open from October to the Easter weekend each year. It is located at 6004 Franklin Avenue (between the pool and the curling club).
Amenities:
1 ice surface (85 by 185 feet)
5 change rooms
Concession.
In addition to the regular ice rentals in the winter, it is often used for special events such as concerts, bingos, dry grad and MMA fights. Click here to access the website.

Yellowknife Climbing Club

The YKCC is a registered not-for profit organization operating in Yellowknife, NT. Our mission is to develop the sport of climbing in Yellowknife and area for people of all ages and experience levels. We focus on access and development of outdoor climbing areas; education and instruction of skills, safety, and environmental respect; and, social support and connections for YK climbers. To achieve this mission, we constructed an indoor bouldering gym where climbers can develop the skills and strengths required for technical competency and athletic excellence.
