Mini-Hockey

This course introduces the young field hockey player to the essential basics. We are currently awaiting confirmation from the PFDF skating school so that we can start classes for the winter 2024 session. The school is currently looking for several instructors/coaches to offer this service.

• Mini-Hockey
  • In this course, we'll focus on skating skills (basic position, forward and backward skating, braking and turning).
  • We'll also promote the integration of puck control through drills and games in which the player learns while having fun.
  • Finally, certain areas will be reserved exclusively for field hockey, with the aim of initiating the various rudiments of effective practice.
  • Equipment required: Helmet with cage, gloves, skates, elbow pads, knee pads, stick.
  • 12-week duration
