The Mermaid Factory is a unique gift shop and a "paint your own" art studio.

All of their plaster products are handmade in Coastal Virginia and are the ideal blank canvas to inspire your creativity. Their studio offers safe and easy to use acrylic paint, glitter, and embellishments that allow you to make a memory and take it home same day. No Kiln Time!

We always have mermaids, dolphins, starfish, and shells to paint any time of the year!
Keep an eye out for our seasonal projects, too: Octopus, sea turtle, shark, seahorse, and narwhal!

Easy as 1-2-3-4!

1. Choose Your Project! Projects vary. 12" Mermaid is $22.
2. Studio or To-Go? Most projects add $6. Ornaments add $3.
3. Bling it Up! Choose Individual bling pieces or a Bling Bag! Adds a few cents to a few dollars depending. Varies by location.
4. Take it Home! No kiln time just colorful memories!
