Meet Ms. Emma or Ms. Kristyn at the South Side Community Centre at 9:30 AM and then go on a group stroller/wagon walk around the community, weather permitting. The Play Troop / EarlyON Classroom will also remain open and the drop-in program will run as usual on this day.
New! Community Garden Days
Join Ms. Kristyn and Ms. Emma on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, during Play Troop / Early ON drop-in at the South Side Community Centre, to garden in our Community Garden plots !
Children will have the opportunity to plant, water, and nurture various plants and vegetables throughout the summer. We will be harvesting our garden in September.
This is a great opportunity for children to be a part of the process of growing food, and learning where the food we eat comes from.
