Officers' Mess

It is a chance to meet with fellow Officers’, as well as associate and honorary members, in order to cultivate old friendships or develop new ones.  The Mess has a vital role in fostering the customs and traditions of the Royal Canadian Air Force. 

The 17 Wing Officers’ Mess is located in Building 76 on East St.  The mess contains several rooms that may be used for a variety of functions including mess dinners, official receptions, wedding receptions and conferences.

The Officers’ Mess has free WIFI available for members' use.

For groups wishing to use the mess outside of regular hours, please contact the Mess Manager at 204-833-2500 extension 5056.

Main Lounge

The room can be utilized as a meeting space for conferences and is equipped with a drop down projector and connections for VGA.  For military use, it is DWAN accessible.

HCol Van Ruiten Lounge

• 180 person capacity
• Full service bar
• Games room

Tartan Room (conference space)

• 25 person capacity
• VTC capability
• DWAN accessible
• Drop down projector / VGA connections

Oak Room (dining room)

• 160 person capacity
