Important update: upcoming change in pension administrator

We are excited to announce an upcoming change in the administration service provider of your pension benefit. Starting from December 1, 2024, Aon Solutions Canada will take over the third-party administration of the Pension Plan from Coughlin & Associates Ltd. 

What You Need to Know  

Seamless Transition: Rest assured, there will be no disruption to your pension payments. Your benefits will continue to be paid on schedule.

Enhanced Services: With more than 50 years' experience in defined benefit pension plan administration, Aon is a global provider of retirement, health and risk solutions.  With Aon, eligible Plan members will gain access to a user-friendly online portal where you will be able to access your pension information, review recent annual statements, update your contact information, and more! The online portal will not be accessible to surviving spouses of retirees. 


Next Steps  

Letter mailed to your home address: At the end of September 2024, a letter will be mailed to the home address on file of all Plan members with details of the transition. 

Portal Brochure: You will receive a brochure from Aon in December, once the transition is effective. This brochure will include instructions on how to access your account and will highlight features of the online portal. 

Contact information: Contact information will be made available prior the transition's effective date. A letter will be mailed with details on how to contact Aon and a phone number will also be published on this website.
