The programs listed below are available to all children throughout Europe.

Sign up with our Child & Youth Coordinator and each season children ages 3-9 will receive a kit with everything required to make a themed craft to keep or give away to family and friends. Send us photos of your finished projects, and we will show them off on our Facebook page! 

If you have not received a craft and have eligible school-aged children, please contact mfse.childyouthprograms@cfmws.com.

MFS(E) has seven proudly Canadian friends who love to travel and spend time with OUTCAN children and their families. These adventurers can travel through the mail to you. They will arrive with a suitcase and their very own passport to record memories of their visit with your family.

If you would like to take one of these friends on a journey, please contact your local MFS(E) centre.

This program helps children build and maintain knowledge of our beautiful country while away from home. Families with children (aged 3-12) will find a printable PDF file below that includes colouring pages, fun facts and statistics for each Canadian Province and Territory. It’s a great way for families to explore our wonderfully diverse country. Please feel free to share photos of your children enjoying the program with your local MFS(E) centre so we can share them on Facebook and display them in our centres. Let's Learn about Canada

Little Cooks Club

Our Little Cooks Club is the perfect way to introduce your children, between the ages of 4-7, to skills in the kitchen. What better way to spend time together than creating culinary delights together?! All they have to do is design their chef hat and apron, participate in 3 challenges (sent via email), share photos, have fun and win prizes! This program runs November to May. Registration for the 2025–2026 program is now closed. Please check back in September 2026 for future registration opportunities.

Would you like to send a letter to a friend or a loved one? Maybe you would like to write to a new pen pal? If you would like to be paired with someone your age, in Europe or Canada, let us know, and we'll get you connected.

• What: We will send you a new stationery kit every six months to personalize your letters.

• What we need from you: Your name, age and full home address.
