Father-Child activities

BEING A DAD IS THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD! 

Strengthen the bond between you and your kids by spending special time with them. A positive experience and a chance to meet other dads. Dates and activity themes to be confirmed, look out for our advertisements on the VMFRC'S facebook page. Dads and their children between 3 and 17 years old, Age and cost, depends on the activity. 

Prenatal classes 

Prenatal classes offer future parents the chance to learn about pregnancy, birth, and their baby’s first days. Meet with other future parents, hear about their experiences, and get answers about the questions that can come up during pregnancy.  

Get Together Club

If you want to meet other English-speaking people that are in the same situation as you, or if you are bilingual and want to keep your English skills up-todate, the Get Together Club is the ideal place to meet people, chat in English, and participate in various activities. This activity takes place in a room specially equipped to accommodate young children.  

Small talk 

A warm, safe place where parents and their children can come to enjoy a few hours of camaraderie, conversation, and friendship. Possibility of starting a baby food workshop, depending on needs. Anglophones who want to practice their French are welcome.  

Sunny Day Group 

Parents and children from 0 to 5 years old are invited to come socialize and have fun in a warm, secure environment. A group of volunteers organizes different activities. Children stay under the supervision of their parents. Anglophones who want to practice their French are welcome. 

Baby massage 

Parents are invited to familiarize themselves with the techniques of baby massage. Baby massage helps parents to learn to recognize the signs and nonverbal language of their baby, and to respond to their needs. A bonding activity for you and your baby.
