Emergency Child care Service in Valcartier

To help families that are experiencing stressful situations related to childcare due to a military parent's absence, the Valcartier Family Centre offers an emergency childcare service to all CFB Valcartier members. 

Since childcare is primarily a parental responsibility, the preventative component of this service encourages CAF members to have an Emergency Childcare Plan (ECP). This plan is kept at the unit for consultation as needed. If the plan fails or if there are delays in its application, the emergency childcare service can be available. This service should be considered as a last resort and regarded as a safety net in your planning. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for children of all ages.
