Alberta Student Aid provides loan, grant, and scholarship funding to Alberta's post-secondary students. It pays to think ahead – from planning to repayment, find everything you need to navigate the Alberta Student Aid program and services!

The Canada Student Loans Program is the largest program offering student financial assistance to Canadians. It was created by the Government of Canada to make post secondary education accessible to students with financial need.

Support Our Troops works to assist military members and their families to pursue their continuing and post-secondary education through scholarships and loans.

CFB Suffield MFRC Bursary Award: The CFB Suffield Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) is proud to offer a $1,000 bursary to support the educational aspirations of a deserving military or veteran-dependent student. This bursary aims to provide financial assistance to help recipients achieve their post-secondary goals.  

Eligibility Criteria:  
- Applicants must be a dependent of a military member or veteran, with proof of status listed on the MPRR.  
- Must provide a letter of acceptance from an accredited post-secondary educational institution.  
- Must submit a personal letter detailing how the bursary will support their educational goals.  

Application Process:
- Applications must be submitted electronically to suffieldmfrc.board@gmail.com by July 30, 2025.  
- Applications will be reviewed by September 30, 2025, and the recipient will be announced on October 1, 2025.  
- Upon submission of a tuition receipt, payment will be issued directly to the recipient.  

Important Notes:  
- The recipient must agree to participate in a photo opportunity and promotional materials for MFRC advertising and social media.   
- The MFRC Board of Directors, staff, and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.
