INDIVIDUAL MODULES (Unit / Section Briefings)
 

Duration: 12 Modules – 2 hours each.
 
Description: Alcohol, Other drugs, Gaming and Gambling Awareness (AODGGA) will increase one's knowledge and understanding of a variety of issues related to alcohol, other drugs and gambling.  AODGGA is based on an interactive adult learning approach and provides information on alcohol, other drugs and gambling.

Topic areas:

• Substance Abuse 101.
• Alcohol: staying within the guidelines.
• DWI: Driving While Impaired.
• Keeping your parties safe.
• Illegal Drugs & Zero Tolerance.
• Prescription & Over the counter medication.
• An introduction to Gambling and problem gambling.
• Talking about Alcohol and Other Drugs.
• Supervisor's Training Part 1: Recognizing and responding to early warning signs.
• Supervisor's Training Part 2: Developing effective interview skills.
• Understanding and changing the culture of an organization.
• Alternatives to alcohol and other drug use.

Each topic can be delivered in about two hours.
You can choose from more than one topic areas depending on your needs and / or interests.
