Deployment Support in Montreal Region

Our services are aimed at providing support to families dealing with the challenges that an absence can bring, whether the absence is related to a military deployment, transfer, course or mission. The services are confidentialandfree.

Our social worker can meet with the family and close friends of a military member to help them experience the absence in a positive way. The specialist can go over various things, from establishing a new routine to handling parent-child relationships, managing stress, communicating as a couple, preparing for a move and so on. Our Family Separation and Reunion team strives to provide the resources and tools that will meet the needs of families dealing with a military member’s absence.

Psychosocial Consultations

Whether you are a military member’s spouse, child or closest relative, our Separation and Reunion Coordinator is here to meet with you – individually, as a couple or as a family – to provide a free and confidential consultation. The purpose of the meetings is to give you a space where you can talk about your concerns with a professional who is familiar with the military lifestyle, and you will obtain positive and effective support adapted to your needs.
