Teen Sports Night

Teens aged 12 and over are welcome to attend Open Gym on Thursday eveinings at the Community Recreation Centre from 6 - 7:30 pm. Cost is FREE with a Community Recreation Card and $2 Drop-In fee for all others.  Please see the Recreation Leader on duty to sign in.

Teen Council

14 Wing Community Recreation hosts Teen Council monthly at the Community Centre, building 110 Church Street.  Meetings traditionally take place on Thursday evenings, but are subject to change based on interest.

Please feel free to stop by the Community Centre on 110 Church Street and speak with the Recreation Leaders if you are interested in this group or give us a call during the day at 902-765-1494 ext. 5337 or during the evenings at 902-765-8165. 

Teen Volunteering

14 Wing PSP Recreation offers many volunteer opportunities for teens in our recreation programs.  Volunteering can help build references and valuable experience needed to get that "first" job or that "dream" job.  If you love working with children and love recreational activities and sports then PSP Community Recreation has opportunities for you.

Some programs that are currently looking for young volunteers include:

• After School Camp
• Girls Club
• Boys Club
• Youth TGIF
• Teen Council

Youth volunteers must submit the same background checks as employees in order to qualify to volunteer.  Stop by the Community Centre and ask to speak with the Community Recreation Coordinator to get started or call 902-765-1494 ext. 5337
