Special Needs Lending Library at NBMFRC

The NBMFRC is excited to introduce our new Special Needs Lending Library made possible by the generous support of our community partners. This program provides children’s books covering topics like emotional regulations and exceptionalities, parental resources and assistive devices like noise reduction headphones, weighted blankets and canopy tents. This free lending library gives families access to resources and a chance to discover what will benefit their child prior to making purchases.

The library will start with a small collection of 23 book titles in French and English as well as 21 assistive devices.  We will continue to add additional items based on needs and feedback.  Families can borrow up to 3 items at a time for a period of 2 weeks.

To register for the program, please fill out the registration form. You will receive a confirmation email with information on how to access the website, check out items and where to pick up and return items.
