MFRC Youth Programs in Esquimalt

The MFRC is committed to supporting youth and family wellness. Staff at the centre work with youth between the ages of 12-19 years old who are experiencing mental health, social, and emotional challenges. The Esquimalt MFRC provides a variety of services for youth and their families including:

Individual counselling
Family counselling
Groups and workshops
Support navigating mental health systems
Referrals
Resources

Additionally, the MFRC works with local community partners to provide opportunities for youth and families. These include:

Presentations/workshops: FamilySmart ‘In the know’ presentations offered monthly to parents, providing information on various topics pertaining to youth mental health
Volunteering: Volunteer opportunities with the MFRC and other local organizations

In March, join the Wellness Team for an evening of painting and planting together.

In April, enjoy NERF and fort games, and a board game café for youth of all abilities and support needs.

Month of the Military Child Movie Night

The Esquimalt MFRC is hosting a special night out at the movies for military children and their parents/guardians! Registration closes April 6th.
