SUPERVISOR TRAINING (MITE 117733) 

This program is designed specifically for the Canadian Armed Forces and for personnel in leadership positions (MS and above). The course is designed to assist leaders to promote an addiction free culture in their workplace. Participants learn about substance misuse, warning signs, effective interviewing skills, active listening skills, enabling, and how to challenge and change unhealthy workplace cultures.   This is a 1.5 day course.

08:30  – 16:00 Day I 

08:30  – 12:00 Day II 

Course includes both sessions Details: Please review your calendar and ensure your availability to attend both days, as partial attendance does not quality for course credit.

All classes are held upstairs in the classroom in the Naden Athletic Centre and the attire is civilian dress. We recommend dressing in layers for your comfort. Parking is available in the lots located in front, behind, and to the west side of Naden Athletic Centre. 

To register for Health Promotion Programs that are marked * you must register through your Unit Training Coordinator. To register for all other programs, or if you are a military spouse and not a DND employee, please contact 250-363-5621 directly.
