Edmonton Reconditioning Program

FORCE Prep / Practice FORCE Evaluations

The Reconditioning FORCE Prep program is an 12 week supervised program designed to prepare those ill/injured CAF members for their annual FORCE evaluation. Following the progression of the program, the member will complete a practice FORCE evaluation within the timeline of the program. For those ill/injured members who require a practice FORCE Evaluation to determine suitability to complete their FORCE test, referring agents may refer them to Reconditioning solely for a practice test.

Return to Ruck / FORCE Combat Prep

The Return to Ruck/FORCE Combat prep supervised class is an 8 week program that gradually reintroduces load bearing marches into ill/injured CAF members fitness program. The aim of this class is to provide progressive training to increase a CAF member's tolerance to rucking, with the goal of achieving the load capacity required for the FORCE Combat (35kg).

Members will progressively work towards completing 5km of rucking in 50 – 60 mins. Additionally, members working towards their FORCE Combat will have the FORCE components progressively reintroduced in the manner required to be successful on the FORCE Evaluation.
