Day Camps in Edmonton

Camps at CFB Edmonton are like no other!
We offer a wide range of fun and engaging activities centered around weekly themes - it's the perfect opportunity for your child to meet new friends, develop social skills, keep active, and have FUN!

Our camps offer youth fun-filled activities that are both physically and mentally stimulating. Our goal is to provide all children with a fun, positive and safe camp experience by providing a nice balance of structured and unstructured time while enjoying the summer season in our safe and supportive environment. Each day at camp, your child will primarily experience art, STEM, and other cultural activities based on the week’s theme, with a supporting dose of physical activities. Each day has a variety of activities: arts & crafts, science & exploration, outside, group games, team builders, ice breakers, themed activities, swimming, sports & gym games, physical activities, and more!

We offer an effective team that is highly trained, experienced and who offer expertise, enthusiasm and professionalism to our camps/programs. All staff are First Aid/CPR certified, and as a Registered High Five entity, we are committed to ensuring every child in our camps & programs has a positive recreation experience in line with the path of Healthy Child Development.

I-REC Program

The I-REC program is an abbreviated form of "I RECognize Leadership", an initiative to provide youth with the foundation to excel in job acquisition and performance, as well as active citizenship.

The I-REC program has four integral values to it: Integrity, Resilience, Excellence, and Camaraderie. The I-REC Leader program aims to develop these values of leadership in youth through providing job experience, national certifications, and exclusive training and seminars within a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our I-REC Leaders work directly alongside staff to deliver children's programming and events. I-REC Leaders will always have mentor staff with them and are encouraged to take a more active role in the program's leadership as they become more comfortable.
