The PSP Reconditioning Program supports Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members as they recover from illness or injury through customized exercise, training plans, and access to sports. The program is designed to help ill and injured members as they recover, support them in returning to active duties, and improve their quality of life as quickly and safely as possible.

Please have your medical officer fill out the "PSP RP - Referral Form in order to enter the Reconditioning program. CFHS health care providers are responsible to provide clearance for ill and injured CAF personnel in order to participate in physical fitness reconditioning activities.

Supplementary Physical Training Program - SPTP

The primary goal of the SPTP is to increase the participating CAF personnel’s fitness level so they can successfully achieve the MPFS (minimum physical fitness standard).  The secondary goal of the program is to improve the fitness level of the CAF personnel in order to successfully integrate them back into their unit’s level of physical training. Commanding Officers and/or Health Care Providers may identify CAF personnel that could benefit from participation in the SPTP in order to increase physical fitness and performance, to the level required by their unit and/or to improve their Operational and Health-Related fitness.

CAF personnel may voluntarily participate in the SPTP.
