Homework Support – Free Resources

Do you need a guiding hand to help your child in his school learning? Here are some free educational resources at your disposal! 

• Voilà Learning (In English Only): In partnership with the Military Family Services (MFS),  offers a homework help service in various subjects. The access is free for military families. Please contact your MFRC to obtain the access code.
• Alloprof is a free and an exciting coaching service that involves students in their success. The website is filled with games, exercises and educational videos for elementary and high school students.

A Kiss Goodbye – A story for 2-7 year olds

Moving away can be a difficult or worrying event for everyone, even more so for a young child! The story, A Kiss Goodbye, written by Audrey Penn, illustrated by Barbara Leonard Gibson and published by Scholastic Editions, told by the soft and comforting voice of Ms. Mélissa Régnier, tells the story of Chester, the raccoon, who must move away with his family.

P.D. Days (For children aged 5-12 years)

Varied and dynamic activities are organized when there are P.D. days for children enrolled in Riverside School. This service is offered from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Different craft or sports activities are organized for these times as well as directed or theme-based activities. Your child must bring:

• A lunch, 2 healthy snacks 
• Appropriate outdoor play clothing.

Payment and Registration: 
$25 / day

Payments are made by pre-authorized debit on the 1st or 16th of the month.
Online registration at CRFM Bagotville MFRC - GOrendezvous. The deadline is the day before the pedagogical day, at noon.
For cancellation without fees, call us at least 24 hours in advance. Please note that places are limited (maximum 13 participants) and at least 8 registrations are required to offer the service.

To benefit from the service, you must keep an eye on the calendar. A publication for the registrations is also posted a few days in advance on our Facebook page.
